Brush often, but don’t overdo it. Two or three times a day is usually the professional recommendation. Any more than that is excessive, and could inflame gums, and break down enamel. It should seem natural to brush up and down, but some people make the mistake of going across, causing irritation at the gumline.

Your Denver dentist will advise that change up your starting places. Brush your front teeth first in the morning, then start in the back when you brush before bedtime. Your Denver dentist will also remind you to pay attention to the inside surfaces of your teeth.
